INCUBUS is a SoCal alternative band and personal favourite of mine AND like the Deftones, a band that don't think get enough recognition in this music landscape. Throughout their musical careers they constantly redefined their sound taking cues from diverse genres including rock, pop, metal, funk, electro, and progressive. They have released seven studio albums: Fungus Amongus (1995), S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (1997), Make Yourself (1999), Morning View (2001), A Crow Left of the Murder... (2004), Light Grenades (2006), and If Not Now, When? (2011).
10. Wish You Were Here - album: Morning View (2001)
With a beach-side campfire like sound along with that heavily distorted stadium-ready chorus, 'Wish You Were Here' has something for everyone. Somehow Incubus transitions between the two parts so fluidly.
